You should be actively memorizing your poem. Here are some important dates to remember.

February 9-11: Poetry recitations in class

For Monday, February 2 read pages 75-83 in Frames of Mind and complete the questions on page 83 in your Writers Notebook. For Thursday, complete activities on page 84 & 85, and bring Frames of Mind and your writers notebook with you to class.

For Tuesday/Wednesday: Bring a printout of your poem to class with you and read Act 3 in Henry IV.

Teacher portraits

Photograph Judge teachers in their teaching environment. If you’re taking a picture of your gym teacher, take the photo in the weight room, for instance. If it’s a science teacher, take a picture of them in a lab. Remember to use the elements of good portrait photography that we learned in December.
